Design a Spotify artwork cover for composer Davy Bridgwood’s original score for the short film Rocket Girl. The visual needed to reflect the emotional tone and narrative arc of the film, while also capturing the unique qualities of Bridgwood’s musical style. The final artwork had to work effectively within Spotify’s format and resolution specifications.
THE CONCEPT
The design translated the film’s story and mood into a single evocative image through thoughtful composition, color, and texture. It aimed to visually echo the emotional depth and musical motifs of the score, creating harmony between sound and imagery.
